TUESDAYS

  • Moms, INC. (INC. = In Christ/In Connection)
    • Mornings, once per Month – 9:30-11:15am – Treasure Cove
    • Childcare Available.
    • Moms, INC. is designed for all moms with children from birth to kindergarten age. Each month has its own topic that will relate to the issues you deal with as a mother of young children. Enjoy fellowship, Bible-study, life-skill helps – a much deserved morning designed just for you! Play-dates in the park keep us connected in-between meetings.

  • Me, Myself, & Lies: A Thought Closet Makeover (Jennifer Rothschild)
    • Tuesday Mornings, 6:15-7:30am
    • SCCC - 4th Grade Classroom
    • Begins Sept 14, Ends Dec 14
    • Materials fee $15.
    • This study encourages women to clean out the junk in their thoughts and replace these hidden negative thoughts and failures with positive truths from God’s Word.

  • Here and Now... There and Then(Beth Moore)
    • Tuesday Mornings, 9:45am-12:00pm
    • Off Campus, in Modesto, other sites TBD
    • Begins Sept 14, Ends Nov. 30
    • Materials fee - $12
    • A lecture series on the book of Revelation. Beth presents many points of view, allowing women to decide for themselves when the interpretation varies among scholars. She teaches that God is as specific about what He does reveal as He is about what He does not reveal. This study has only light homework, but the discussion and lectures pack a powerful punch!

  • The Patriarchs: Discovering the God of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob (Beth Moore)
    • Tuesday Evenings, 6:45pm-8:30pm

    • Begins Sept 14, Ends March 15
    • Materials fee - $20
    • Through one nation—and ultimately, one man—all people on earth will be blessed. Many of the most profound and enduring concepts in the whole counsel of God’s Word are initiated in this marvelous book of beginnings.

    • Small Group Study, Childcare Available

    • Weaving together Old Testament imagery and New Testament teaching with facts of science and biology. The Life Changing Power in the Blood of Christ presents a cogent, solidly constructed explanation of how the blood of Christ operates at full power in the life of every believer who yields to its life-giving flow.

  • Breaking Free: The Journey, the Stories (Beth Moore)
    • Thursday Mornings, 9am-11am
    • Begins Sept 16, Ends March 24
    • SCCC Treasure Cove, Childcare Available
    • Materials fee $20.
    • This in-depth women's Bible study draws parallels between the captive Israelites of the Old Testament and New Testament believers in Jesus as the Promised Messiah. Beth looks at the Book of Isaiah through the lives of the kings who ruled during the prophet's ministry. These kings exemplify many of the obstacles to freedom with which we must deal. Using Scripture to help identify spiritual strongholds in your life, no matter how big or small, Beth explains that anything that hinders us from the benefits of knowing God is bondage. Video session and discussion sessions alternate weekly.

FALL MINISTRY KICK-OFF BRUNCH—Don’t miss our Fall Ministry Kick-off! Saturday, Sept. 11 from 9:30-11:30am. We’ll serve you brunch as you enjoy hearing about upcoming Bible studies and events. Our guest speaker, Jennifer Swanson, will encourage you to dig in! Come! Be enticed into growing your walk with the Lord!

BETH MOORE SIMULCAST—The city-wide simulcast event featuring Beth Moore will be held at Cross Point Community Church (formerly known as First Baptist Church), Saturday, Sept 18. Tickets include lunch are available at www.cityministrynetwork.org for a cost of $20 before Sept 1; $25 after. Doors open at 8:30am. Event is from 9:30am—4:00pm.
