Shelter Cove "Fix It Brigade"

I just wanted to share a moment of praise this evening.
 
This week, our Men’s Ministry was contacted by a woman in the church who, for three weeks, needed to return a broken refrigerator to Costco in order to receive a full refund and purchase another. Yet, with no help in sight and tired of using her ice chest as a refrigerator, she contacted the church to solicit the help of our men’s “Fix It Brigade.”
 
Our group of volunteers, whose expertise covers the gamut of occupations, stepped up to lend a helping hand. Two of our men spent the afternoon moving and returning her broken fridge - they even went to Sears to help her pick a replacement!  Moreover, several other men offered additional resources as well to make certain the problem was resolved. It was like a “Call Curtis” situation on KOVR 13! Problem created…..problem solved!
 
We are so blessed to have men who willingly serve the Lord by serving others in our church. I pray the Lord’s blessing on each of you!
